For shopping, bar hopping, or exploring the restaurant scene of the province of San Jose, you will find the best of all of it a mere ten-minute drive away in the popular neighborhoods of Escazu and Santa Ana. Numerous shops and trendy Multiplaza Shopping Mall, one of the largest centers in the country, offer you anything from inexpensive to top brand shopping (Kenneth Cole, Armani, etc.). Some of the country’s best restaurants are located in these neighborhoods; choose between anything from Chinese, Indian, Thai, Japanese, and great Italian, to traditional North American fare (Fridays, Tony Roma’s, Outback, and more). Coffee and pastry shops are scattered everywhere should you desire a perfectly brewed world class, yet local, cup of coffee (of course we’ll brew you one right here at home as well...).  Have a desire to try real local fare?
