Please print these directions if you will be renting a car and need directions to Casa Bella Rita Bed & Breakfast.  We also recommend printing these directions if you plan on taking a taxi from the airport as your driver may speak Spanish only.

Unless you are familiar with the roads in Costa Rica these will be the easiest directions.

From Juan Santa Maria International Airport (San Jose):

Take the General Canas highway towards downtown San Jose. Stay on the right hand side or the road.  Exit at the SECOND set of signs to Pavas (after the overpass) it is about 6 miles or so.  This will take you onto another highway.  Stay on this road until you see a sign for Escazu and Santa Ana.  Take this exit and go through the subsequent toll booth (75 colones).  Continue past the Santa Ana exit, where eventually the four lane highway narrows to two lanes. You will pass a hotel that has bright blue unicorn in front of it on the right.  Continue this way for just about ½ mile until you see a sign-post on the right-hand side of the road that reads “La Casa de La Pradera” bar/restaurant. Turn right onto a small dirt road immediately past La Casa de La Pradera (this is a very bumpy road so take it very slow).  Turn right again at the next street which is about 75 meters up.  The Casa Bella Rita is on the left-hand side of the road another 75 meters, marked by a large concrete fence and black door at the entrance to the property. There is a sign and a doorbell just left of the sign.  If you have any problems you may call us at 249-3722 or 8980-1137.

Del aeropuerto seguir la autopista a San José, llegar hasta el Gimnasio Nacional y virar a la derecha siguiendo la pista Escazú – Santa Ana-Ciudad Colón sin desviarse, pasar el peaje, Hospital Cima, Multiplaza, Forum y seguir (cerca de 15 min. para llegar al hotel) camino a Ciudad Colón hasta donde la pista se reduce a dos carriles. Pasar la intersección de Piedades de Santa Ana y continuar dos kilómetros hasta el restaurante ~ LA CASA DE LA PRADERA ~ (a mano derecha), inmediatamente después, doblar a la derecha y entrar siguiendo la calle de piedra 50 metros hasta el único viraje a al derecha donde se sigue 50 metros hasta llegar a una casa de color Terracota con portones negros a mano izquierda, busque y toque un timbre y ya llego.
